The Story of our Racing Flags…

When Alan Epps bought his 1957 Chevy 210 (pictured above) in the early Seventies, its sole purpose was basic transportation.  This was the tail-end of the muscle car era and the ’57 saw its share of back-street showdowns but that was the extent of its hot-rodding. 

In the late Eighties, Alan and his friend, Chuck Robinson decide to move their slice of “American Graffiti” into the Pro Street ranks. The Chevy 210 was transformed into a drag strip funny car and Alan perfected his racing skills at the Maple Grove Drag Way.  Alan’s hobby turned into a 15 year passion as he became a divisionally ranked drag race funny car driver.

Our racing flags now symbolize speedy and winning service.
